Upcoming overnight closures on M73

Motorists are advised that the M73 northbound carriageway will be closed for five nights commencing Monday 4 November, between Junction 2 Baillieston and Junction 3 Mollinsburn on the following nights at the following times:

• Monday 4 November 2019 – 8 PM to 6 AM
• Tuesday 5 November 2019 – 10 PM to 6 AM
• Wednesday 6 November 2019 – 8 PM to 6 AM
• Thursday 7 November 2019 – 8 PM to 6 AM
• Friday 8 November 2019 – 8 PM to 6 AM

These overnight closures are necessary to ensure road user and road worker safety as essential road surfacing works and cyclic maintenance works are undertaken.

As a result, of these overnight works, the M73 northbound Junction 2 Baillieston on-slip and Junction 2A Gartcosh on-slip will both be closed.

A signed diversion will be in place via the M73 northbound link road to the M8 westbound to Junction 13 Blochairn/Parkhead off-slip for M80 northbound traffic or via Baillieston roundabout with local diversions in place.
