This is followed by the Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance process, which includes the Case for Change, Preliminary Appraisal and Detailed Appraisal, supported by a Strategic Environmental Assessment, Statutory Impact Assessments and Climate Compatibility Assessment. These are followed by publication of draft reports and draft recommendation, a 12 week public consultation, and lastly publication of final reports.
