Made Road Orders and Compulsory Purchase Order - Pitlochry to Killiecrankie - A9 Dualling

The Made Road Orders and Compulsory Purchase Order were made on 27 October 2021 and published on 26 November 2021.

A copy of the Orders and relevant plans referred to therein are available to be inspected, free of charge, from 26 November 2021 to 7 January 2022 during normal business days at the following location:

  • VisitScotland, Pitlochry iCentre, 22 Atholl Road, Pitlochry, Perthshire, PH16 5BX. From Monday to Saturday between 10:00 and 16:00.

Any person aggrieved and who desires to question the validity of the Order on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks of 26 November 2021 make an application to the Court of Session for the suspension of, or the quashing of, the Orders or any provision contained therein.


 

The Compulsory Purchase of Land (Scotland) Regulations 2003


On 14 May 2024 the Scottish Ministers executed a General Vesting Declaration relative to the A9 Trunk Road (Pitlochry to Killiecrankie) Compulsory Purchase Order 2021. The Scottish Ministers will take title to the land contained within the Compulsory Purchase Order on 14 June 2024.

Persons entitled to claim compensation in respect of any interest in the land are invited to complete the claim form below and return it to:
