The latest management information data was provided on motorcycle fatalities year to date, highlighting the make and model of bikes involved in collisions as well as the age group of riders. Police Scotland continue to monitor the analytical data to identify trends in activity and investigate how they can be prevented. Police Scotland continue to work with TS on emerging trends.

Motorcycle Analysis

KC provided an overview of an in depth analysis into motorcycle collisions and contributory factors from the last four years, which was shared with members.

It was noted that throughout the summer a lot of riders are foreign nationals travelling to Scotland and there will be discussions going forward on what can be done to highlight the Drive on the Left Campaigns.
