As an agency of the Scottish Government, Transport Scotland’s Procurement Strategy 2017–2020, aligned to its Corporate Plan, sets out the strategic direction for procurement activity for the next three years. The strategy supports the Scottish Government’s goals of increasing competitiveness and tackling inequality, ensuring that Transport Scotland makes the best use of public money and takes account of its legal obligations.

Low cost air quality technologies monitored air quality adjacent to the A985 near to the town of Kincardine during the Forth Road Bridge closure. This report determines whether indicative air quality emissions increased as a result of the change in traffic composition on the A985 diversion route. The report concludes that there was no significant increase in levels of NO2 or PM2.5 concentrations at the Longannet Roundabout for the period of the FRB closure.

The final version of the report, published in December 2016, sets out the discussion that took place during the summit on the 22 August and key points relating to transport that were identified during the summit. It also includes comments received during the public engagement exercise undertaken between the 19 September and 31 October 2016.
