The A830 Trunk Road - (Mallaig) - (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2025
The Scottish Ministers hereby give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 82(2), 83(1), 84(1)(a) and 124(1)(d) of and paragraph 27 schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is as described in Inverness Courier dated 24th January 2025 and The Edinburgh Gazette, dated 24th January 2025 Issue number 29071. The Order comes into force on Tuesday 25th March 2025.
A copy of the Order as made and the relevant plan may be inspected free of charge until 17th April 2025 at the offices of Transport Scotland, George House, 2nd Floor, 36 North Hanover Street, Glasgow, G1 2AD, Harbour Shop, Main Street, Mallaig, PH41 4PU and Co-operative Food, Station Road, Mallaig, PH41 4PY.

In accordance with section 23(2) of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024 (the Act), the Scottish Ministers certify that, in their view, the A830 Trunk Road (Mallaig) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2025 is compatible with the UNCRC requirements as defined by section 1(2) of the Act.
